The leaked images of the revised iPad Pro and iPad mini show few changes

An alleged image of future iPad mini cases has the same design as the iPad mini 5, while those for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro appear to have a small camera shot.

As a new iPad Pro is expected to be unveiled soon, a long-running leaker has shown images of fictitious chassis models. Along with mannequins for both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the images show what is believed to be the next iPad mini.

Leaker Sonny Dickson says these are fictitious units, so there is no display to start yet. This makes the determination of the frame width uncertain – but it seems that both the iPad Pro refresh and the iPad mini do not have marked redesigns.

A potential exception is that the two iPad Pro mannequins show all the correct ports, except for the smart connector. The regular smart connector is not visible in pictures in the usual place, nor is it moved anywhere else in the chassis. The Magic keyboard requires this connector, so it seems unlikely to have been affected by the design.

Other features, such as a USB-C Thunderbolt port versus a USB 3.1 type C port and a faster processor expected for the model, obviously cannot be displayed on a mannequin likely for the housing industry.

Separately, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro mannequin appears to have a less pronounced rear camera bulge, compared to the 11-inch mannequin or current delivery models.
