The launch of the coronavirus vaccine continues in South Florida

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The launch of COVID-19 vaccine continues in South Florida, as several photos were taken on Saturday.

Long lines of cars, while people are waiting to be vaccinated today in the tropical park of Miami.

Across Miami-Dade County, access to the vaccine for those over 65 is expanding, as is demand.

Baptist Health South Florida has booked thousands of appointments moments after launching its online dating portal and is now putting the brakes on scheduling several.

At Hard Rock Stadium, there will be a limited amount for next week, but many who showed up without an appointment were turned down.

In Broward County, more lines and more expectations.

Elderly citizens of Lauderhill told 10 News to make appointments to browse non-functional websites and practice patience.

As in Miami-Dade, several self-open locations are open to the public in Broward, but supply is limited.
