The Las Vegas Raiders reach a one-year deal with receiver John Brown, the source says

The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed a one-year deal with wide receiver John Brown, an ESPN confirmed source.

The deal is worth $ 3.75 million and could be worth up to $ 5.5 million if the incentives are met, the source said.

Brown joins a large body of Raiders receivers, led by the first tournament of 2020, Henry Ruggs III and Hunter Renfrow. Las Vegas released veteran wide receiver Tyrell Williams earlier this offseason.

Buffalo Bills launched Brown earlier this month in a move that released $ 7.93 million in salary cap space.

Brown, 30, hosted a career season for the Bills in 2019, setting career highs with 72 receptions and 1,060 yards while serving as Buffalo No. 1 receiver.

These figures fell sharply in 2020, as injuries limited him to just nine games and the second total reception (33) and yardage (458) of his career.

A draft pick from the Cardinals’ third round in 2014, Brown has 320 receptions for 4,748 yards and 31 touchdowns in 96 career games for Arizona, the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo.

The news of Brown’s agreement was first reported by NFL reporter Adam Caplan.

Jeremy Fowler and Marcel Louis-Jacques contributed to this report.
