Upper West Sider Judi Sisco, an activist who has been open for years, couldn’t believe the text: A guy asked about the giant painting of a vagina she wanted for her home office.
He hadn’t ordered any murals.
Then came a pamphlet about bipolar disorder stuffed in the mailbox. Following is a brochure from Adam and Eve, a manufacturer of sex toys. Texts from weed and porn providers began to appear. Tweets and posts appeared on Instagram, describing her as a cougar, because she is married to a younger man.
The 49-year-old dirt and harassment campaign against Sisco illustrates how ugly the neighborhood’s shooting has become in connection with the neighborhood’s homelessness issue with two rival advocacy groups – NoNimby vs. Upper West Siders for Safer Streets – each declaring war.
Sisco points to a few women – Allison Weinger among them – who he claims are behind NoNimby, who supports the city’s decision to host hundreds of homeless men at the Lucerne Hotel. Sisco belongs to UWSSS, which has over 15,000 members on Facebook and does not want another shelter in the neighborhood.
While Sisco is not an administrator or monitor, it acknowledges that it is not perfect. She took NoNimby for what she described as “intimidation and doxing” of her UWSSS friends.
“I’m not a shrinking flower,” she said, “and I have a big mouth.”
But she said the mural and brochures crossed the line, especially since she has a 12-year-old son. He is the reason she is making it public now.
“If we are all ugly online, fine. I can be ugly. They can be ugly. That’s the thing, “Sisco told The Post. “It is not okay to share my address and send things to a house where a child lives. This is another step. “
The ugliness started at the end of August on Instagram. Sisco said she confronted Weinger after Weinger accused UWSSS members of harassing her. There was a back and forth on Instagram and Twitter. On. On November 20, Weinger had a long exchange on Instagram – the screenshots were shared with The Post – with an account holder named gislandjerseytears, who he thinks is Sisco, but Sisco denies.
Gislandjerseytears wrote: “Allison, why not [Weinger’s husband] do you want me to stick it in you Maybe because you’re constantly hysterical? “
Allison.weinger replied, “Oh, Judi! You seem to be obsessed with my husband and our sex life. Do you design too much? Don’t worry I covered your face! I’ll send you some vibrators, clearly you need. ”
The catalog of sex toys arrived on December 1.
When contacted by The Post, Weinger described herself only as a NoNimby follower.
“I don’t know who Judi is and she attacked me and my family on Twitter,” Weinger said. “I really want this to end. To stop all this drama and stop inventing all these lies. “
Sisco suspects that Weinger and other NoNimby members are behind the harassment and giant vagina order.
“I have no hard evidence,” she told The Post. “But I think there’s a lot of things that bind them together and a lot of clues.”
Sisco detailed the “harassment” in a Facebook post of more than 700 words. Sisco said he did not go to the police, but spoke with lawyers and sent a letter of termination and resignation to NoNimby on Instagram.
“She did nothing,” she said of her letter.
