The giant lizard sweeps the supermarket, the wild movie goes viral

„Godzilla vs. Kong ”was not the only giant lizard drama this week.

A massive Asian water monitor terrified shoppers after they stumbled upon a “King of Monsters” who stole a 7-Eleven from Bangkok, Thailand. The original video tweet of the incident garnered nearly a million views before being deleted.

The frightening video, which was reposted on Facebook, shows the monster reptile climbing a milk shelf, tearing down cardboard boxes and causing spectators to scream in shock.

“The shelves are destroyed! God, ”one can hear a voice exclaiming about the reptilian interloper who, up to 8 feet long, is the second largest lizard in the world after the Komodo dragon, according to Everything Reptiles.

The clip ends with the water monitor resting above the shelf, near the ceiling, while the spectators gasp in the background.

Fortunately, despite their massive size, opportunistic predators are not a threat to adults, but they choose to enjoy everything from eggs to small mammals and herds, according to experts at the University of Michigan Museum of Zoology. (However, a dead baby was found partially eaten by monitors in southern Thailand in May 2020.)

However, the leaked shopping pile left social media in a tizzy shape.

“Godzilla is real boys,” wrote a social media viewer. Another described the scene as “nightmare”.

“Whenever you’re hungry, visit 7-Eleven, right?” threw a social media comedian referring to the motto of the chain of stores.

It is not known why the lizard entered the store in the first place, although some speculate that it is trying to escape the humid temperatures outside.

This is not the first time a lizard has monitored people’s fears. In 2016, oversized settlers overtook Bangkok’s Lumpini Park, affecting stunning flora and visitors, the Bangkok Post reported.

Meanwhile, in a now viral clip from a Japanese game show, a monitor was unleashed for competitors wearing meat on their heads.
