Germany is very concerned about the health of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, Chancellor Angela Merkel said.
“The German government, along with others, is pushing for it to receive adequate medical treatment,” she told the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly on Tuesday.
Merkel also said that an accumulation of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine had created an “alarmingly tense” situation, saying it was important to maintain a dialogue on the issue.
