Dow futures fell 252 points, or 0.8%. The S&P 500 futures fell 1%, while the Nasdaq futures fell 1.2%.
US stocks ended a sharply shorter turbulent week on Friday. The Dow and the S&P 500 posted their first monthly losses in October. For the week, the two indices, as well as the Nasdaq Composite, recorded losses.
Dow (UNJUST) closed by 2% or 622 points, lower, while S&P (INX) ended the day down 1.9%. Nasdaq (COMP) decreased by 2%.
The volatile week has come after all a lot of trends: analysts fear the massive shortfall of GameStop and other Reddit favorites are starting to reduce liquidity in other parts of the market as investors relax their positions. In addition, the earnings season is in full swing and investors are making a profit.
