A new duplication of Fortnite Season 6 items allows players to create endless healings to camp endlessly in the storm, and the community believes the mistake could be behind DreamHack’s sudden cancellation of a future tournament.
Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 6 has seen its fair share of shows since its release. Whether it’s buying unlimited coins, using chicks to get on the map or the need to play the side game, the new season has suffered from some unintentional errors.
Another mistake is now making the rounds on social media due to its truly potential to break the game. This new exploit allows players to create endless healings and camp in the storm forever – which is so serious that some players believe it led to the cancellation of an official Fortnite tournament.

The new error allows players to duplicate any disposable items, including healings and shields.
Fortnite mining discovered
Operation began on April 16. In a video shared to his YouTube channel, content creator Fortnite “OrangeGuy” revealed the duplication error and showed exactly how players can use the exploit themselves.
The creator warned at the beginning of his video that using the exploit outside of private matches could lead to a ban – as Epic classifies the exploitation of bugs and errors as misleading – so players should be careful not to use the error against other live competitors.
In the video, OrangeGuy showed exactly how to take advantage of this feat. The process involves a complete inventory, selecting a disposable item (such as a Medkit), then discarding it while replacing the item with another that is already on the ground (at the same time).
With the right timing and careful execution, a copy of the object owned by the player will appear when the original is discarded. By repeating this process several times, players can create endless copies of one or more items, making this feat truly destructive of the game.
Fortnite exploits any element
The problem quickly began to spread among communities after it was first revealed. In a post on Reddit, a user shared a clip of a player sitting in the storm and endlessly duplicating Floppers, using the fish to regain his health while sitting in the (usually) deadly storm.
New exploitation to double Floppers and survive forever in the storm. Cool … from FortNiteBR
While that particular player copied and consumed Floppers to regain his health indefinitely, it seems that the exploitation applies to any disposable object in the game (Medkits, Shield Potions, Chug Jugs, etc.).
DreamHack Fortnite is late
On the same day that the operation was revealed, DreamHack announced that it is rescheduling the Fortnite Open tournament scheduled for the weekend of April 17 and 18.

While DreamHack did not identify the reason behind the cancellation, the Fortnite community quickly blamed the newly discovered hero. Swiss pro Duong “Kinstaar” Huynh responded to the tweet with a clip of the exploit, suggesting that was the reason behind the cancellation.
Neither Fortnite’s DreamHack accounts nor Fortnite’s competitive officials provided additional information as to why the tournament was canceled or confirmation that the duplication error was indeed the reason for the sudden change in plans.
Exploiting object duplication seems to be certainly one of the worst mistakes in season 6. Epic is probably already aware of this problem and players can expect a quick fix so they can avoid facing the same problems they faced. faced the players of the war zone for months.
