Creepy CCTV recordings show flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera kissing a man in the lobby of a luxury Philippine hotel – before she is found dead in an empty bathtub in her room.
The 23-year-old was captured at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati while spending New Year’s Eve, GMA News said.
She was shown barefoot and holding a glass of wine with at least three men as she moved between the rooms – and kissing a man in shorts and a back-facing baseball cap.
A few hours later, the Filipino flight attendant was found unconscious in her room – and was soon pronounced dead at a local hospital after being taken there by friends and hotel staff.
Police in the city of Makati claimed that there were signs that she had been raped, and on Monday she filed a provisional charge of rape with murder against all 11 men who spent time with her.
But on Wednesday, prosecutors released the only three who have been arrested so far, insisting investigators have failed to prove that she was “sexually assaulted or raped” – and if so, by the 11 men charged.
Also, it was not proven what caused his death, prosecutors said, with an initial autopsy that said he died of a “broken aortic aneurysm.”
Police and a lawyer for Dacera’s family suggested that the aneurysm was the result of his assault.
One of the defendants, Gregorio de Guzma – the son of the well-known Filipino singer Claire dela Fuente – said there was a gang rape, insisting that most of the men were gay.
“How did it become rape? I’m gay. I’ve never had sex with a woman in my life, “Guzman told ABS-CBN TV, saying up to eight of the 11 were” probably gay like us. “
He insisted he remembered that Dacera was “happy” at the party, then performed CPR on him the next morning after he found her unconscious in the tub in her room at the City Garden Grand Hotel.
