Update number 2 [Sun 21st Feb, 2021 14:30 GMT]: SNK has now blocked a launch date for Cham Cham. This fighter will get in Samurai Shodown on March 16 as part of Season Pass 3. See it in action in the trailer above.
In addition, it was revealed that the fourth spot Season Pass 3 will go to a character from Guilty Gear series. The release date for this will be announced at a later date.
Update number 1 [Fri 8th Jan, 2021 05:35 GMT]: After a few delays, SNK has now revealed that the first two fighters on the road to Season 3 of Samurai Shodown are Cham Cham (which arrives in mid-March) and Hibiki Takane from The Last Blade 2.

Original article [Thu 7th Jan, 2021 05:45 GMT]: SNK pulled the plug on its great revelation King of Fighters 15 and Samurai Shodown Pass Season 3 at the last minute.
Although the reason behind the decision is still unknown, what we do know is that SNK intends to reschedule a new date and time as soon as possible and acknowledges the fans for their understanding. Here is the official word from the company’s Twitter account:
While the KOFXV announcement may not necessarily include the Switch, the Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3 is something that hybrid portable device owners can look forward to.
