Although, in principle, it was to hit cinemas in June 2020, that release was suspended due to the coronavirus without being reported again at that time.

Earlier this year, it was announced that it will finally hit theaters in June, although it was only this Friday that it will be released on June 9 and will play such an important role at the Tribeca Film Festival.

After its sample presentation, In the Heights will be available in US theaters from June 11 and 31 days later on the HBO Max platform.

So far, Tribeca Film Festival has not yet announced which films will participate in the event or which film will close this year’s edition, which takes place two months later than usual.

Like many other festivals, the one at Tribeca initially had to suspend the 2020 edition due to the coronavirus pandemic, which it later celebrated in the middle of the year in a fully digital format.
