As long as he can remember, the Guardian Jenny Stevens she had a difficult relationship with the food and the feeling of feeling at ease with her body. As he progressed through adolescence to the age of 20, these feelings intensified until he found himself skipping more and more meals while in control of anorexia.

She says Rachel Humphreys that, recognizing the problem herself, it was far from easy to receive the treatment she needed. Faced with an obstructive doctor, she failed to receive the necessary recommendation for specialized care. She was eventually sent to the Eating Disorders Unit at Maudsley Hospital in south London, where she was able to gradually begin her journey to recovery.
