The government of the President of the United States, Joe Biden, is offered to provide other financial assistance to families who have lost their finances as a result of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

According to The Wall Street Journal newspaper, the United States government will allocate $ 50 dollars through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to pay for the Internet.

The program to distribute this money will be presented 60 days after unanimous approval by the four members of the FCC. This initiative will be funded by a $ 3.2 billion item set aside by Congress from an aid package approved in late 2020.

The acting director of the FCC, Jessica Rosenworcel, assured that this is the greatest help in keeping the Internet going at home, assuring that “it is a challenge too real for many families.”

Details on how and when to apply are not yet available.
