Duke of Edinburgh, her husband Queen Elizabeth II, was hospitalized Tuesday night at a hospital in London as a “precautionary measure” after “feeling sick,” Buckingham Palace reported on Wednesday. The 99-year-old duke will remain “under observation” at the medical center King Edward VII for “a few days” so that she could rest, according to the official residence of the British sovereign and her husband.
Felipe de Edinburgh was not hospitalized urgently, but was transferred to the hospital in a private vehicle and entered the building without help, sources in the palace told British media. These sources assured that their health problems are not related to covid-19 and also detailed that the 94-year-old queen remains in Windsor Castle, about 30 kilometers west of the British capital.
