A tired doctor from Great Britain came out of the hospital where he spent New Year’s Eve treating patients with COVID-19 and in a crowd of masked protesters shouting “COVID is a farce”.
“I’m disgusted, but especially my heart is broken,” Matthew Lee said posted on Twitter along with a video shot hundreds of protesters in front of St Thomas’ Hospital in London.
“I wish people could see the amount of COVID-19 and the deaths in hospitals and the sacrifices that health workers make. This week alone has been so tough. Their ignorance hurts others. I really want people to stay safe. “
