The Disciplinary Committee of the Chamber of Deputies quotes Pedro Botello for Monday

The chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, Sandro Sánchez, reported that Pedro Botello was summoned before that delegation to explain his participation in the unrest in front of the National Congress in favor of delivering 30% of pension funds to workers.

The commission, which met on Thursday, was able to observe the evidence provided by the security colonel and the legal adviser to the Chamber of Deputies.

“On Monday, at 1:00 pm, we will receive Pedro Botello to finally see the evidence that could involve him, and obviously the disciplinary board will decide to send the report to the Chamber of Deputies to see the possibility of a sanction or clarification of the process ”, Sandro Sánchez.

On Thursday, February 4, the National Congress was the site of riots between protesters who demanded the granting of 30% of pension funds and members of the National Police who guarded the legislative building.

This triggered tear gas and beatings on the protesters, and five vehicles were stoned.
