Earlier today, The streets of anger 4 developer Lizardcube shared a beautiful layout for his concept of Garou: The Wolf brand continuation. I want it to be real so bad.

Garou: The Wolf brand was first released on arcade in 1999 as the last game in SNK’s Fatal Fury franchise before The king of fighters absorbed it entirely. An official follow-up was planned at one point, but never materialized. In fact, the “Chief’s Fur” seen in Lizardcube’s reimagining is taken from the old conceptual art launched by SNK in 2016.

There is no indication that anyone is actually working Garou: Mark of the Wolves 2, but The King of Fighters XIV director Yasuyuku Oda offered a joking reply to Lizardcube’s tweet, so I think anything is possible. All I know is that a tourniquet rebirth inspired by aesthetics The streets of anger 4 it would be incredibly cool.
