An agent at Military Police of Public Order (PMOP) He was assassinated last night inside the National Penitentiary Center in Támara, as reported by the authorities.
So far, it is known that the victim has been identified as Pedro López Mejia (26), originally from the municipality Santa Elena from La Paz.
He was allegedly murdered by a prisoner, who used a padlock to attack the agent and end his life after several blows.

According to the report, the victim was bringing food to the detainee when the violent act took place. The agent was assigned to the 5th Battalion Military police.
The body of the deceased was transferred to the General Directorate of Forensic Medicine in Tegucigalpa, capital Honduras.
