The customer vandalizes the Antelope Wingstop for the wrong order – CBS Sacramento

ANTELOPE (CBS13) – A violent reaction to ordering a restaurant led to chaos at a Wingstop in Antelope over the weekend.

The wings should be lit – not the customers – but the video with the mobile phone shows a wild man about wings who are upset because of his order. In a video captured by a witness, a man can be heard saying, “I don’t want the food, I don’t have time to wait for the food, so what do we do now?”

You may hear an employee say to the man, “Either you get the food restored and continue the day and stop yelling at the other manager because, no, he’s not called.”

Tharon Trujillo, a customer at the time of the store, recorded the man grabbing the register and knocking him to the ground twice before throwing him out the window.

“I told him to calm down. I said, “You don’t want to go to jail, you don’t want to go to jail,” Trujillo said.

Trujillo said she heard the man say the restaurant had given him the wrong order twice. When the register went through the window, he said he was surrounded by glass.

“Certainly, when I saw her, I was a little shaken, they [employees] they were definitely shaken in the back, the ladies in the back were definitely shaken and they were like thanks for staying. It’s definitely not what you see every day, “he said.

The manager of the Wingstop restaurant says that the man claimed that he is missing several wings and that he wants a refund, which she says is not allowed according to the company’s policy for online orders.

Ordinary people at the restaurant who have experienced ordering problems in the past say they are amazed by the reaction.

“It’s definitely shocking and overcompensating for five wings. But I understand his anger, certainly not his actions “, said the client Jason Prado.

His wife Christina Prado, also shocked by the video, said she felt bad for the employees.

“It’s really sad and unhappy,” she said, “I feel bad for society. I think the pandemic is reaching people’s heads. ”

Jennifer Johnson, who lives in the area, thinks she is “upset” or not, the destruction goes too far.

“It’s crazy, I mean the wings are important, trust me. I like to eat, but it doesn’t matter, “Johnson said. “I have three children and we go out all the time. Our orders are always confused, guess what? You hug him. ”

Witnesses say the man went out the door and left after breaking the window.

Order ordeal now costs a potentially heavy price. The store manager tells CBS13 that it cost about $ 6,000 to replace the computer-operated registry and is still waiting for an offer to repair the window.

Anything over $ 950 is considered vandalism. According to the Sherriff office in Sacramento County, the injury qualifies him to issue a warrant for the man’s arrest.
