A team of archaeologists found several Christian relics in St. Giles’ Church, located in Milevsko, a town about 70 kilometers south of Prague in the Czech Republic.
These include a 6-inch-long nail that could have been used in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ more than 2,000 years ago.

Czech researchers have been working for several months on this monastery, built in 1187. They recently discovered a secret passage leading to a room called the “treasure room”.

Researchers have not yet fully assured that the nail came from the “True Cross” on which the messiah was crucified.
While the discovery could be of great importance to archaeological science, More studies are needed to determine the exact age of the object. For this reason, the authenticity of the nail will be verified by other scientific experts sometime next year.
