In view of the controversy sparked by the discovery of supplies at the Roberto Clemente Colosseum in San Juan, which dates back to Hurricane María, the Justice Department has assured Metro who would intervene in the problem if a notification is sent to them.

The Secretary of Justice, Domingo Emanuelli HernandezHe stated in written statements to this environment that “the municipality of San Juan is conducting an internal audit and we are awaiting its outcome. Once these are completed and after a referral is sent to the Department of Justice, it will be investigated.

Earlier today, the former mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulín Cruz, defended himself against the provisions found and assured that nothing presented about these deposits is the responsibility of his administration.

The warehouse was placed by Jay and his x-rays, which had access to the bottom of the sports complex, where they saw supplies containing 45 pallets of canopy, first aid kits, batteries and expired food.

Despite the fact that Cruz Soto ensured that employees were fed this food, some of the food had expired in 2019.
