The citizens of Washington will play double against Atlanta Braves

The Nationals and Braves will make up for the game, which was postponed Monday due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Washington, as part of a double title on Wednesday.

Major League Baseball announced the change on Monday, while Nationals players trained at Nationals Park.

Four players from the national team gave positive results for COVID-19 and another seven were placed in quarantine, after the contact potential was identified.

The national team intends to add defender Luis Garcia, playing field Yadiel Hernandez, catcher Tres Barrera, right Kyle McGowin and left to their list of 26 players for Tuesday’s opening season against the Braves, according to The Athletic.

Trea Turner, first baseman Josh Bell and receiver Yan Gomes were not among the players present at Monday’s training session, according to several reports.

The 2019 World Series champions have not played a game this season yet. Their three-game opening streak against the New York Mets has been completely postponed. The Nationals and Braves will play two seven-game games on Wednesday, the first of them starting at 12:05 ET.
