The cause of Cloris Leachman’s death was a stroke

Just weeks after Cloris Leachman died, the cause of his death was announced.

The 94-year-old actress died due to a stroke, revealed her death certificate, according to Entertainment Tonight. COVID-19 was also listed as a significant condition that contributed to her death, but was not the leading cause.

A San Diego coroner did not immediately return the six-page comment request.

The star of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” was cremated on February 7, and her remains are kept at the residence of her daughter Dinah Englund in Encinitas, California.

The beloved Oscar winner died on January 27, her longtime manager Juliet Green confirmed on Page Six.

“It was my privilege to work with Cloris Leachman, one of the most fearless actresses of our time,” Green told Page Six in a statement. “There was no one like Cloris. At a glance, he had the ability to break your heart or make you laugh until tears ran down your face. You never knew what Cloris would say or do, and that unpredictable quality was part of her unparalleled magic. ”

Green added that she “fiercely loved her children and grandchildren” and was “a lifelong vegetarian” and “an avid animal rights lawyer.”

Leachman died at home with Englund by his side.
