The British “Indiana Jones” claims that the Holy Grail is in England

An amateur archaeologist nicknamed the British Indiana Jones claims that the largest relic in the world is hidden in a secret crypt in Hounslow, west London.

Barrie-Jon Bower, 40, believes the Templars captured the Holy Grail during the Crusades and brought it back to a crypt secreted by a dam at the Duke of Northumberland’s artificial river, according to the Sun.

Bower spent the last few years studying the Templars and was so convinced that he had received permission from the Environment Agency that he would divert the river so that he could bring special equipment to monitor the riverbed.

The archeology enthusiast has invested thousands of dollars in his own ground-breaking radar equipment to prove his theory early next year.

“When I find it, it will be one of the greatest discoveries in history – the greatest discovery of mankind,” he told the Sun. “I was in the water now and it made me safer. It feels empty. It feels good. There’s something underneath. Why not Hounslow? ”

Legend has it that the Grail – the cup that Jesus drank at the Last Supper – has immeasurable power and has been sought after for centuries by many, including treasure hunters, archaeologists, and Nazis.
