In addition to adding dozens of new animals, weapons, and enemies, Second Wind also includes changes, from changing the atmosphere in each of the game’s 120 Shrines to make them feel more unique, to more detailed bow thrills to it makes them “more aesthetically pleasing. ” According to a wiki project, Second Wind also incorporates a lot of elements from other existing modes, rebalancing things like craftsmanship, riding and the final fight against Ganon. With over 50 people contributing to the project, page mod for Second Wind says it is currently 60% complete, but players are already testing it beta through Group Discord. There is even a roadmap with tentative plans for when the remaining functions will be completed. A new underground underground crypt dungeon, for example, has a June completion date. Maybe by then we’ll have news of when Nintendo plans to launch Breath of the Wild 2, but in the meantime it’s nice to see enthusiastic fans moving forward with their own unofficial expansions.
