Boy George has launched an international search to find the best actor to play him in his upcoming biographical film, Karma Chameleon.
The 59-year-old singer, born George Alan O’Dowd, announced the interesting news during a video on Instagram uploaded on Tuesday.
He confirmed that Daniel Mays of Line Of Duty is inked into playing his father, while Keanu Reeves is “rumored to appear.”

The online clip opened with the successful recording of Boy, Karma Chameleon singing in the background and an intermittent neon text on which he wrote: “Boy George” and “Big Announcement”.
The pop sensation of the 80’s appeared, wearing a typical glamorous make-up look and a sloping red hat as he said to the camera: “Hello, I’m Boy George and I’m very excited to announce that a film from my life and the Culture Club called Karma Chameleon will be shot this summer in London and around the world.
“And already on board is Daniel Mays – who is one of my favorite actors – who plays my father and there are rumors that Keanu Reeves will appear. Bop! Decrease name.

The upcoming biographical film will follow Boy’s childhood in Ireland until his peak success as a solo artist and singer in the Culture Club. with members Jon Moss, Roy Hay and Mickey Craig.
