The ambassadors are appointed in Chile, Paraguay, Jamaica and Sweden

Last night, President Luis Abinader appointed Manuel Ernesto Polanco Salvador as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Paraguay.

By decree 735-20, issued last year, Lourdes Gisela Antonia Victoria-Kruse, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Slovak Republic, based in the Kingdom of Sweden, was also appointed.

In addition, Angie Shakira Martínez Tejera was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Jamaica, and Fausto Rafael Liz Quiñones was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in the Republic of Chile. The decree was issued on December 29, 2020.

Other diplomats

On October 21, Abinader appointed new ambassadors to Russia, Haiti, Peru, Honduras and Cuba.

By Decree 578-20, he appointed Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos, ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Russian Federation.

Also to Alejandro Arias Zarzuela, in the Republic of Peru, and to Faruk Miguel, in the Republic of Haiti. Sandra Mancebo is also appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to Honduras and Flavio Amaury Rondón de Jesús to Cuba. Since taking over the presidency of the Republic on August 16, President Abinader has made a number of changes in the country’s diplomatic and consular corps, with the aim of establishing a change in international relations with other citizens.
