On March 26, San Francisco handed over four draft picks, including their first rounds in the next three drafts, to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for general no. 3. The team is expected to choose a future replacement for Jimmy Garoppolo, with the three main candidates being Fields, Lance and Mac Jones from Alabama.
Jones was the betting favorite to be the no. 3 to Fields’ workout last week. Oddsmakers have placed former Ohio State Buckeye at the top of the list. Lance’s training on Monday could have a similar impact.
The 2021 NFL Draft begins April 29 in Cleveland, Ohio.
