According to John Lund of KNBR, colleague Greg Papa reports that the San Francisco 49ers have a four-year, $ 80 million deal on the table for offensive attack Trent Williams. However, the Pope speculates that this amount may not be enough to retain the Pro Bowler eight times. The play-by-play radio announcement states that the team will probably have to increase the offer to retain the player.

Williams expects it to be a great free agency draw. The NFL Network reported this morning that the line offensive was not even around for the start of the free agency. He was on vacation in Mexico, but has since returned.

San Francisco traded with Williams last year during the draft. After a year of football, he replaced Joe Staley, who was retiring from the left wing. Williams had a great season and was the highest attacker in Pro Football Focus and the second highest offensive offense.

Williams turns 33 in July, but expects to play many more years.

“I’m definitely ready for another, in my opinion, six seasons that I can play at a high level,” Williams said recently. Cris Collinsworth Podcast while talking to teammate Richard Sherman. “That’s how I look at it.”
