Texas woman who took a private plane to Washington accused of participating in riot

Jenna Ryan, a Frisco, Texas real estate agent who took a private plane to Washington, DC last week, has joined those accused of the pro-Trump riot in the Capitol, which she documented on social media, The Dallas Morning News reports.

Ryan is alleged to have been accused of the criminal complaint filed Friday “Knowingly entering or staying in a restricted building or property without lawful permission” and “disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds”.

Authorities were able to identify Ryan in the riot because of her social media, according to the Morning News, which reported that she streamed live as she walked up to the Capitol and said, “ Life or death, it doesn’t matter. Here we go.”

She added, “You all know who to hire for your broker, Jenna Ryan for your broker.”

Ryan posted on Facebook that she had broken into the Capitol and told a reporter on Candysdirt.com that she and her fellow participants were “frontline patriots”.

“Then they were like ‘someone got shot there’, and we were like, we don’t care because our freedom is more important to us than our life because the whole premise is give us freedom or give us death ,” she said. “We are patriots on the front lines fighting for freedom.”

Ryan also told local Fox4 in an interview that she did not believe she would be arrested.

“I don’t feel like I did anything wrong, in fact, I felt like I was doing something noble and I’m proud to be there,” she said.

Fox4 reporter Dan Ryan and others in her group flew by private plane from Denton, Texas, to Washington.

There have been dozens of arrests since the Capitol riot, and authorities believe there will be more.
