Test: Can you name these Pokémon?

New Pokemon Snap© Pokémon Company

News that we’ll be taking pictures of Pocket Monster on the Switch soon when We Pokémon Snap arrives on april 30, 2021 made us all excited to break into our camera again and rummage through our digital surroundings for creatures. You have to catch them all (on film), right?

With a new Pokémon worth two decades added to the National Dex from the original Pokémon Snap released on the Nintendo 64, this is a daunting number to remember. However, we are experienced veterans of the Pokémon series – we know our Bidoof from our Binoculars! – and we are relatively confident that we will be able to see even the most relaxed month with our eyes lit at the end of April.

How confident I am you, anyway? Well, I created a little test to test knowledge about Pokémon and their anatomy. In the enlarged images below, we have isolated a small part of a dozen Pokémon and it is up to you to identify the beast from the multiple options. I twisted and rotated several indicative images just to make them a little more complicated.

So how many Pokémon can you name from this selection of PokéParts?

So what did you do? You are the best or a little Slowpoke? Feel free to challenge your fellow Poké trainers and give it a try other tests if you’re looking for more brain tests for video games:
