Here’s what we watch as markets launch on Tuesday.

US futures fell while investors waited for Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s testimony in Congress on the health of the economy.

S&P 500 futures fell 0.5%. Monday’s stock benchmark fell for the fifth day in a row, the longest series of losses since February. Contracts for the Nasdaq-100 fell 1.6%, suggesting that technology stocks will continue to lead the market lower. Read our full market package here.
