After entering the half with a 42-38 lead, the Kentucky Wildcats continued to fight and extend their double-digit lead to the 12-minute mark of the second half. Keion Brooks Jr. drilled a jumper inside the paint, followed by a theft by Devin Askew and submerged in transition by Brandon Boston Jr. to push Britain’s lead to 58-48 in the second half timeout.
At the time, Kentucky seemed to have gained momentum and was ready to extend the advantage similarly to the British victories in Florida and LSU.
After the revolutionary moment of the game – or what it seemed to be at the time, anyway – the official Kentucky men’s basketball account for men posted a video with the Boston dunk in transition, with the caption “We have fun”
We are having fun.

From that moment, Tennessee managed to close the game in a 34-13 race to get the 82-71 victory, giving the program its sixth victory in nine attempts against Kentucky. The comeback victory pushed Rick Barnes’ record to 8-5 since John Calipari and Wildcats took over as UT’s head coach, making him the only active coach to lead his team to at least three victories at Rupp Arena.
Needless to say, the volunteers celebrated the victory accordingly and did not leave Lexington without a swift troll move that led the way to Kentucky.
“We’re having fun,” he posted on Twitter the official Tennessee basketball account, accompanied by a video celebrating the team’s locker room.
