WHY DID SANTIAGO CRESPO LEAVE “HE TOLD ME HOW IT HAPPENED”?
Santi Crespo He confessed that he made the decision to leave the series before the start of the new season. “I think that in life, decisions are taken into account when you are and right now I consider that I am at a time when I want to work on different projects. For example, I did very little theater and I want to get my head around it. I want to enter new challenges and new characters “, he said in an interview for FormulaTV.
“It’s true that I had a supporting role, not that it took me a long time, but in the end you don’t stop spending 20 years with the same character and there comes a point where you want to do something else. Although right now I’m telling you that I don’t have a close project. I want to be able to change and enter new challenges, new projects and, in the meantime, continue to work on my own. In fact, I’m training right now. Do you know what’s going on? That I have been working for a long time, actively, and now I take the time to train with intensive modules. I’m pretty happy now. I see the road and I think I’m doing well here, “he added.
Although he said goodbye without the intention of returning, he does not rule out being part of the final ending of the longest-lived fiction in Spain. “If there was a definitive end to the series, of course I would like to be there. I have a connection not only professional, but also sentimental with the series. I feel part ofTell meand he could not miss a goodbye. I can already imagine what could happen if it were a meeting or something like that (laughs). In short, yes, I would like to be ”.
Regarding his future projects, he said: “For now, I am finishing the intensive training module I am doing and I would like to be able to do more theater. I was in Mérida 3 years ago and I really liked it. It was an experience I loved. I worked very little in the theater, I was in the Spanish theater with ‘S. XX … that you are in heaven and in Mérida with the “Assembly of Women”. I am very clear that I would like to work more in theater. But I don’t even get close to television or the movies. The truth is that I like everything. “
“At the moment, I don’t have any projects on the table, but tests are coming out, which are now more accessible on the Covid topic. But I think I could do more tests. I would like to do more tests. Sometimes, the eternal waiting of the actor or actress for the test is a bit difficult “, he clarified.
