Trump has “done a wonderful job for the economy,” Robertson said Monday, but said it was “very irregular.”
“He fired people, fought people and insulted people and keeps going on the line. So it’s a mixed bag,” Robertson said of the president. “And I think you’d better say, ‘You’ve had your day and it’s time to move on.'”
He also questioned Trump’s efforts to overturn the election results.
“I prayed and hoped there could be a better solution, but I think it’s all over,” said Robertson, who previously said God was told Trump would win the 2020 election.
“I think the Electoral College has spoken. I think the corruption in Biden has not been completely brought to an end, but it does not seem to affect the Electoral College and I do not think the Supreme Court will do anything and I think we will see a president (Joe ) Biden and I also think we will see him as President Kamala Harris not too long after President Biden’s inauguration. “
Robertson also said it would be a “mistake” for Trump to run in 2024, and instead backed Trump’s former US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, as a potential successor.
“I think it’s a side show. I think it would be a mistake. My money would be for Nikki Haley. I think it would make a great candidate for the Republican Party,” he said.
