The representative of the Democratic People’s Party (PPD), Rafael “Tatito”, Hernández Montañez, expressed today, Sunday, his support for the nomination of Kermit Lucena Zavala to the Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico.
“With the same detachment and professionalism that CPA Kermit Lucena supported us with his knowledge and technical advice, it will be a privilege to participate in his appointment as responsible in our caucus,” Hernández Montañez posted on the social network Twitter.

Similarly, Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced also announced the appointment of Maritere Brignoni to the Supreme Court.
At a press conference, Vázquez Garced made nominations for the Supreme Court and the Comptroller’s Office.
In addition, he expressed that the President of the Senate, Thomas Rivera Schatz, asked to be considered for the vacancy of the Supreme Court.
However, Vázquez Garced explained that he announced to Rivera Schatz that he already had in mind to name Brignoni.
