Tampico Madero is the champion of the MX Expansion League defeating Atlante

The Tampico team was crowned champions against Atlanta in the first final of the MX Expansion League, beating them by a score on the Estadio Azul, a place that saw a club lift the title for the first time.

Both teams reached this meeting with the score of 1-1. In the first 45 minutes, the game was blocked in midfield, with very few scoring opportunities for both, reaching the break 0-0.
