A new update is now active for Super Smash Bros. last on the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, version 11.0.1 doesn’t offer anything too substantial for the game, so fans hoping for some fighter changes will have to wait a little longer. Of course, Super Smash Bros. last we just saw a huge number of changes to its list, so a smaller update will probably be welcome for fans of the fighting game. Unlike the previous update, it makes a change to a lone fighter that can be played: Wii Fit Trainer. Full notes about patches directly from the Nintendo website can be found below:

General
- The vulnerability to landing after using the special header of the Wii Fit trainer decreased unintentionally, so it was adjusted.
List for Super Smash Bros. last it currently has a massive number of fighters, so regular updates like this are needed to keep things balanced. It may not seem like much in the grand scheme of things, but this adjustment to the Wii Fit Trainer will bring the fighter closer to where Nintendo and director Masahiro Sakurai need the character to be. Wii Fit Trainer became for the first time a playable fighter in the series with Super Smash Bros. for 3DS / Wii U.
Previous update for Super Smash Bros. last saw the fourth added fighter in Fighter’s Pass Vol. 2 DLC: Pyra / Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. There are only two remaining slots left as part of the DLC pack, and speculation is underway as to which characters will join the game in the future. Fans hope to see characters like Crash Bandicoot, Master Chief and Doom Slayer, but Nintendo has proven that it can be very difficult to predict exactly which fighters will come to the game. Of course, this makes it all the more interesting, as some of the characters offered some really shocking surprises. It will probably take a few more months for another fighter to be revealed, so fans will have enough time to continue the speculation!
