Year after year NFL celebrates its main event, Super Bowl, where the winning team is awarded maximum trophy to which a franchise of football from US: Lombardi wins.
This jewel was designed at a table when Oscar Riedner, vice president of the company Tiffany & Co., made a sketch on a napkin to show Pete Rozelle, then commissioner al NFL, which gave its approval for its completion.
Then the jewelry company began work on its manufacture; curious in its beginnings was called “World Trophy Game Championship‘, but since 1971 he has been appointed Lombardi wins in honor of the legendary coach of Green Bay Packers.
Commanding Packers, Lombardi won the first two editions of Super Bowl, leaving immortal phrases like “Winning is not the most important thing, it’s the only thing.” Unfortunately, he died of cancer in 1970.
