Phoenix Suns goalkeeper Devin Booker will miss Sunday’s All-Star festivities due to a sprained left knee, the league announced on Friday.

He suffered injury in Thursday night’s 120-98 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

The team said in a press release that it is considered daily and will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.

Booker had previously been chosen by Commissioner Adam Silver to replace the injured Los Angeles Lakers striker Anthony Davis.

The former Kentucky Wildcat was selected 3rd overall by KD captain Kevin Durant in Thursday night’s NBA All-Star Draft.

Booker was also scheduled to take part in the fifth three-point competition, which he won in the 2018 edition.

Utah Jazz goalie Mike Conley Jr. will replace Booker in both the All-Star game and the three-point contest on Sunday night in Atlanta.

The selection will be the first in Conley’s 14-year career.
