We’ve known since then last August that Subnautica and Subnautica: Sub zero come the Switch. After the recent ESRB evaluation last month, I suspected that the release date will appear soon and Bandai Namco has just confirmed that both games will be released on May 14th.
Announced in a press release, Unknown Worlds Entertainment is collaborating with Bandai Namco for a worldwide physical launch, and Sub Zero will be sold for $ 29.99. A physical package with both games was also confirmed for the same date, coming in at $ 59.99.
In this press release, Bandai Namco provided an outline of what to expect.
Subnautica: Sub zero invites players to explore the treacherous waters beneath the frozen surface of Planet 4546B, an alien world where mysterious aquatic creatures and other aqueous wonders test the limits of how far they are willing to go to survive. Players can immerse themselves in a whole new story, a massive open world to explore, new craft technology and strange mysteries to discover. The Seaworthy update marks the last major update. While Subnautica: Sub zero now it has a full story, the ending will remain hidden until the official launch on May 14th.
