Steve Martin revealed on Sunday on Twitter that he received the COVID-19 vaccine, calling the overall process “smooth as silk.”

When he was pressured by a fan about how he received the vaccine because they had trouble getting one for an older relative, Martin said he signed up online and waited in line.
“I signed up for the ON line through a NYC dot gov website (sorry I don’t have the exact site) and waited for the IN line at the Javits Center,” Martin explained.
He later wrote“At the moment, I have no faith resets.”
Some side effects have been linked to COVID-19 vaccines, according to the CDC, including pain and swelling in the arm where a patient received a blow.
Martin is not the only star who was recently vaccinated in New York. Last week, Martha Stewart confirmed she had received the COVID-19 vaccine and documented the moment on social media.
“I was vaccinated today in a designated vaccine capsule near the Martha Stewart Center for Housing in downtown Mount Sinai,” the 79-year-old posted on Instagram at the time.
Like Martin, Stewart waited in line.
