Famous WWE celebrity Steve Austin recently spoke with Ryan Satin of FOX Sports and confirmed that his in-ring career is over because he has no desire to fight again.
Stone Cold hasn’t fought since retiring in 2003, and now Austin says he doesn’t want to do anything else in the ring. He commented when asked if he liked having the “Broken Skull Sessions” show on the WWE network as a way to keep him connected to the current list.
“Man, 100%,” Austin said. “Because, you know, I’m still the biggest fan of the business I had when I was seven years old changing channels and I stumbled upon it; then I had the chance to learn it and do pretty well. So, I don’t want to do anything else in the ring. I finished. I retired. Everyone knows that.
“I don’t have to go out there and throw anyone on a pile of dimes and give them amazing. Once a year, once every two years, anything. So yes. This connection makes sense. I’ve paved the way for I did and I had the career that I had, but I still look at all these people who came to the show, so the fact that I can still have a hand in the wrestling business and the pulse finger, yes, it is the relationship I want and cherish. “
During the interview, Austin was asked for his views on WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, the return of his heel, and his work with Paul Heyman.
