Stephen Curry leads Kobe Bryant, while the Warriors defeat the 76ers

Stephen Curry had 10 triples and finished with 49 points to extend his series of scores in the Golden State Warriors’ 107-96 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.

With his triple equalizer at 86, Curry has played in 11 consecutive games, scoring 30 points or more, beating Kobe Bryant for the biggest player in over 33 years. Curry, who turned 33 last month, also has the longest series of 30 Warriors games with Wilt Chamberlain in 1964.

The goalie also scored five extra 40-point games in April, defeating Bryant and Michael Jordan with the most games in a 40-point month after turning 33.

He scored 3 points at the end of the fourth quarter to make the Warriors 91-90 and 96-92 to beat the best team in the East.

Joel Embiid, who had 28 points for the 76ers, threw the ball out to sea and Andrew Wiggins scored from the other side to end the game.

Sixers did not have star Ben Simmons (illness) and starter Tobias Harris (right knee condition).
