New Mexico has the largest percentage of its population fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the CDC’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution and follow-up administration data.
The CDC data tracker compiles data from health facilities and public health authorities. It is updated daily to report the total number of people in each state who have been completely vaccinated against COVID-19.
As of 6 a.m. EDT on April 1, a total of 56,089,614 Americans had been completely vaccinated, or 16.9 percent of the country’s population.
