Stardew Valley is five years old now, the creator thanks the fans for staying with him

And I’ve been playing it for so long

Stardew Valley it is a timeless game. It’s something I’ll play with for decades to come, so I’m glad it’s on as many platforms as possible: much easier to keep!

In the picture above it is one of my first farms, which I started years ago and still come back from time to time. Last week, Stardew celebrated its fifth anniversary. That is … forever in the collective consciousness of games!

While so many projects these days are forgotten a week after launch, Stardew he endured. In part, the mind, thanks to the tireless efforts of the creator, Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. They played a key role in the success of the game, not only making free updates to keep the game interesting, but also interacting with fans, adding a love attraction to all Stardew related (including a sincere thank you for the anniversary celebrations).

At this point, it has far exceeded the coverage of the original PC, with countless fan modes, pieces of merch and, most recently, a board game. The sphere of games is better with Stardew Valley, and Barone, in it.
