St. Vincent Details Daddy’s Home new album, share video for new song: Watch

After the news appeared on the street posters, St. Vincent has officially announced his new album Daddy’s Home and distributed his first single, “Pay Your Way in Pain.” The album is released on May 14 through Loma Vista. According to a press release, St. Vincent began writing a few Daddy’s Home songs in the winter of 2019, which is about the time when her father was released from prison after being imprisoned for nine years. In a new interview with Laura Snapes for the Guardian, it was revealed that the title of the album was inspired by the fact that Saint Vincent took his father home from prison.

Annie Clark produced her new album with Jack Antonoff. In addition to Clark and Antonoff, the album features shows by Cian Riordan, Evan Smith, Sam KS, Greg Leisz, Daniel Hart, Michael Leonhard, Lynne Fiddmont and Kenya Hathaway.

St. John’s latest studio album Vincent was the year 2017 MASEDUCTION. Clark later shared several versions of the album, including an acoustic version canceled in 2018 (Mass education) and a 2019 remix titled Nina Kraviz presents Masseduction Rewired.
