SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Springfield’s City Utilities and Liberty Utilities run several outages on its networks.
City utilities will rotate two sections at once. Continuous interruption could take an hour. If it takes longer, report the outage. Interruptions will continue until further notice. CU representatives say they will try to establish a model for which area to follow. The interruptions will take place every half hour.
In the meantime, Liberty Utility customers may be affected by the required outages of the controlled service. The utility says that if additional service interruptions are required, they will interrupt the service in blocks throughout the electrical system.
Power outages could take up to an hour for each block. Liberty requires customers to prepare in advance.
