Special artistic applause for Albert Rodríguez | Stage

The surprising death of actor and director Albert Rodríguez served to smooth the rough edges of the past among television stations and so their talents could come together to celebrate the life and legacy of their partner, in El Remix, by Wapa.

The film, theater and television actor was instrumental with his characters in the Wapa TV program mentioned above, produced by Emmanuel “Sunshine” Logroño, with whom Rodríguez worked for more than 25 years on the aforementioned channel.

The remix took place today at 22:00 to honor Rodríguez. It began with the comedy Before and After, of the marriage characterized by Albert and Marian Pabón. Followed by loud applause. Then they continued to intersperse key “sketches” with the anecdotes of those present with the deceased artist.

“We will do a different remix, we will celebrate the life of our brother Albert,” said Logroño.

The production was attended by almost thirty of his colleagues, including previous talents from Logroño productions such as René Monclova and Jorge Castro, who now work at Raymond y sus amigos at Telemundo. Suzette Bacó and Cristina Soler were also present.

Rodríguez died at the age of 58, on March 15, from natural causes, at his residence in Bayamón. Due to the covid-19 protocols, his awakening will be private tomorrow at the Braulio Castillo Theater in Bayamón; He will continue at the Jalvin Funeral Home in Añasco on Friday and will be buried on Saturday with his parents in the cemetery in that city.
