The deal, agreed early Wednesday morning, has $ 55.1 million guaranteed and includes a $ 30.1 million signing bonus, sources told Russini.
Niners also continues an agreement with the free agent center Alex Mack, a source told Russini.
Williams, widely considered the best free agent available this season, also discussed agreements with the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
But Kansas City signed Joe Thuney, and Chicago signed Germain Ifedi, paving the way for Brown’s historic agreement to return to San Francisco.
The 49ers traded to Williams on the third day of the 2020 NFL Draft, sending a fifth-round pick and a third-round pick in 2021 to the Washington football team.
